Wedding Registry Checklist: The Bar Essentials
Build a home bar you'll actually use. Here is the curated checklist of glassware and tools to add to your registry.
Building a wedding registry checklist can be overwhelming. Do you really need a bread maker? Probably not. But will you host dinner parties and holidays for decades to come? Absolutely.
Investing in quality barware is one of the smartest moves you can make. Unlike trendy kitchen gadgets, classic glassware and tools never go out of style.

We've broken this down into three categories: Glassware, Tools, and Service. If you have a small apartment, stick to the first 2 items in each list.

Glassware: Why It Matters
You don't need crystal for every day, but having a set of 8-12 nice red and white wine glasses ensures you're ready for a dinner party. Look for "break-resistant" glass if you're clumsy (we love Schott Zwiesel).
Tools of the Trade
A cheap shaker leaks. A weighted "Boston Shaker" (two tins) seals tight and opens easily. It's what the pros use, and it's surprisingly affordable.
